Li is also board member of Detroit Chinese Engineers (DCEA), Vice President of Young Profession Network (YPN), member of Detroit Chinese Business Association (DCBA) and member of Council of Asian Pacific Americans (CAPA). She achieved her bachelor’s degree in science from Wuhan University, one of the top 10 universities in China. She came to Michigan after graduated from college and got a master degree in economics from Eastern Michigan University and a master degree in business from University of Michigan. Li is also experienced in real estate. It only took her less than 2 weeks to get her Michigan realtor license. She worked for Michigan’s large Chinese real estate company 1st Michigan Realty and a Chinese Fortune 500 real estate company for several years. Her businesses cover the whole Metro Detroit area and cover both commercial and residential. Engineering and business background combined with 6 years of experience in Michigan, Wendy has deep understanding in business development and is ready to bring more glory to DCT team and Detroit City.​
